All proceeds go directly to Laingholm Primary School, the Greatest Little School in the Universe.

13km Course Description - The 13km course starts at the Huia Beach Reserve and has a short sealed road section before it starts to meander through the beautiful Waitakere Bush, past the Lower Huia Dam and along a private gravel road. At around three quarters of the way to the turn around mark there is a 62m long tunnel where participants will have to put on a hardhat (don't worry - these will be provided!). The turnaround point is on the top of the Upper Huia Dam and gives participants a spectacular view of the dam and the valley down below. When participants get to the lower Huia Dam, they cross the top of the dam round a cone and then back along the dam and down the road past the start line and to the beach reserve to finish.

5km Course Description - Follows the 13km but turns around just before the big hill and heads back taking the same route to the finish as the 13km.

2km-(ish) Course Description - This course is aimed at the wee kids - it will be a fun loop around the reserve and beach at the event centre. They will do as many loops as they can in 10 minutes.

Course Flyover - check out the 3D course helicopter flyover on youtube.com
