Event Overview

The Cadbury Moro Madness is an off-road running/walking relay. Teams of 2-5 people (or solos)complete as many laps as possible in 8 hours. There's one person from the team running on the course at once. There's 3 different length laps to cater for different running/walking abilities.

To introduce the “madness” element to the relay we will have some mystery activities (that any team member can do) and milestone targets to inject some strategy and more fun into the event. More details on these will be released closer to the event! In past events these included a three-legged lap and a sprint race through a bouncy castle obstacle course.

The event is aimed at all fitness levels from running club members to corporate teams. We encourage walking teams too!

A party atmosphere will be created for teams throughout the day, with teams being allocated a tent site each. A section of the course will weave amongst the tent city so teams can transition in front of their tent site.

CURE KIDS - TURNING RESEARCH INTO HOPE
$5 of each person's entry fee will be donated to Cure Kids - a very worthy cause.

Cure Kids is the face of the Child Health Research Foundation – an organisation established over 30 years ago to address the lack of research into life-threatening childhood illnesses in New Zealand

Since then, over $13 million has been invested in medical research. This research has helped save hundreds of young lives and has improved the quality of life for thousands of children.

Today, Cure Kids is more committed than ever to help find answers to the many cruel, life-threatening illnesses that devastate the lives of young children and their families.

Your team may like to use this event as a fundraising opportunity – set up a page on FundraiseOnline (and raise money for Cure Kids!)
