An adventure race that caters for the recreational to the experienced, using an innovative format that will be 6 hours duration for everyone.

DISCIPLINES: Mountain biking, Walking and/or running,simple navigation, team work, strategy and mystery activities. * NB There will be no PADDLE activity this year. So you will not need a car tube and PFD.
NO SUPPORT CREW REQUIRED!! Because the P6 Central Otago is a multi loop style format NO support crew is required. All transitions will be at the event centre. Persuade your usual support crew to participate instead!
TEAM SIZE: 2, 3*or 4 people per team
The Premier Category is 4 person mixed gender team
* The 3 person open category is a recreational innovation! It’s for groups of up to 4 but only 3 will be on the course at one time. Ideal for people new to endurance sport and also enables parents to swap the child minding duties during the event.

ENTRY FEE:
$95 per person
$65 per person 18 yrs and under
NB: The 3 person ‘recreational’ teams only need to pay for 3 people if 4 are registered in the team.
Adult entry fees take priority. All fees in NZD.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Competently handle a mountain bike on gravel/forest road and be keen to give some single track a go.
- At least one member of the team should be able to carry out simple navigation
EVENT TIMETABLE:
- Registration: 7-9am Saturday 19th Feb 2011
- Event Briefing: 9.30am Saturday 19th Feb - All participants must attend
- Start: 10am
- Finish: 4pm
- Prize giving: 5pm
PRIZES:
Merit Prizes will be awarded to the winning 2 person and 4 person teams. Spot Prizes will be on offer for all participants.
