EVENT 2 - PEAK ROAD POSTPONED - from 25th September to 2 October 2011
Sorry but we have just found out (when I arrived this morning to mark the course) that we will have to postpone the Lactic Turkey Rogaine to next Sunday (2 October) due to a wounded wild bull running around the farm.  Sounds like a good fib but it's for real sorry!

The farmer has been trying to destroy this feral bull but as of this morning still couldn’t find it. Because the bull is now wounded it is unpredictable so the risk of this bull charging someone is too great and the farmer has asked we postpone the event until next Sunday.  

Lactic Turkey do not charge like wounded bulls and the last thing we want is for a wounded bull to charge you! (drums...da dommmm!)

Can you please reply to email to let me know you have received the message so I can cross you off the list of people to notify of this change. All entries will be transferred to the new date of Sunday 2 October.  Please email if you cannot make that date and we’ll refund your entry. 

Also…now you can check with friends and family if they can make this new date – maybe they couldn’t make tomorrow due to the rugby or something, but now can enter.

Sorry for the hassles but it’s out of our control and we agree with the farmer that the risk is too great.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ENTRY - Sorry the system is not that easy to follow but if you follow these steps you should be right.

  • Click on the link above and click on "I would like to create a new team"
  • Complete all the details for the team - team name, category and your details and clikc on "Create"
  • You will be sent an email with a link to then go and join the team - you can send this to your team mates so they can enter and pay themselves or you can do it for them.
  • Use that link or click on the link above. This time click on "I would lik to search for an existing Team"
  • Put in the team name and hit the green arrow.
  • It should then list your team. Then you hit the green arrow next to your team name and it should then proceed to where you select adult or junior.
  • Carry on with entering the details.
  • At the checkout you can then select "enter another person" on the bottom left and this takes you back to the adult or Junior screen and then you enter their details.
  • Once you have entered everybody proceed to checkout.

Entry fees per person:

  • Juniors $25
  • Adults $40

All entry fees are expressed in New Zealand Dollars

Acknowledgement of entry is by email once payment is received.

# The Organisers reserve the right to combine event categories if there are less than ten participants in a category.

I declare that I have fully read and understand the rules and conditions of the Lactic Turkey Rogaine. I attest that I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved in participating in this event and I understand that participation in the event is at my/our own risk. In consideration of the acceptance of my entry fee, I do hereby on behalf of my heirs, executors, administrators and assignees release and forever discharge the sponsors of, landowners and any and all persons involved in the conduct of the Lactic Turkey Rogaine Series from any and all liability whatsoever or claims of damages or actions whatsoever (including negligence) in any manner arising out of my participation in the Lactic Turkey Rogaine. I agree that Lactic Turkey Rogaine and any sponsor of this event may use information contained in this form for purposes connected with the event, and to provide details of other products, services and events to me from time to time. I understand that I have rights under the Privacy Act 1993 to access and correct any information held about me.

Refund Policy - Entries cancelled greater than two weeks before an event will receive a refund less a $10 administration fee. Entries cancelled within two weeks of the event can be used as a credit for another Lactic Turkey event or can be refunded less a $20 administration charge. No refunds will be given for cancellations within 48 hours of the event day. Refunds will be paid direct into a bank account as nominated by the participant.
