Course Details
The Wild Moa is Rotorua's premier multisport event. It involves 67km's of some of
New Zealand's most scenic wonderland.
Kayak (3km run/7km kayak/1km portage/9km kayak)
A short road and bush run precedes the breathtakingly beautiful paddle encompassing Lakes Okataina and Tarawera,
joined by a unique 1km kayak portage.
Mountain bike (32km)
Following a brief 5km road section, the ride follows forestry four wheel drive tacks and then culminates with
much of the famous purpose built Waipa mountain bike single tracks.
Run (15km)
Quite possibly one of the North Islands most stunning bush and forest runs including the infamous Moa Valley
and majestic Redwood Grove.
The Wild Moa is a more than a multisport event, it's an adventure through the best Rotorua
has to offer.
Due to the special nature of the race, entries are strictly limited to
one hundred and fifty teams and
/ or individuals.
Ensure your place by entering early.
