INSTRUCTIONS

The online entry system is using EventPlus and the first step in this process is to set up a profile.
If you have used EventPlus for another event you can simply login and all your details will be pre-populated.
You then select the event you want to enter and answer some specific event questions before heading to the cart and paying via credit card or bank transfer.

CUSTOMISED THIR – $20

Get your special Lactic Turkey Events customised Thir (brand new design below).

These are included in the race pack for all 80km entrants.  For the rest of you or your supporters…purchase your customised Thir Bands for $20

Thir Bands are multi-functional headwear with at least 12 ways to wear it on your head. They offer protection from the elements, and form an attractive piece of head, or hair wear. You can carry it on your wrist, or even on your ankle, and they’ve even been worn as leg and arm warmers!

They are manufactured from EnduroCool 100% polyester micro-fiber, which is wind resistant, breathable, and wicks moisture. When washed the Thir Band is colour fast, dries in minutes, and retains its elasticity.

Thir Bands are stitched and formed on a specialized machine. This leaves a tube that has no irritating seams, allows the fabric to retain it’s shape, and gives a tremendous amount of strength to the finished garment. The ‘stitch free’ process allows Thir Band to support up to 150KG (over 300 pounds!) of weight.

LATE ENTRIES

Entries received after 20 February 2018 and on the day are to include an additional $20 and are subject to availability.

 

CATEGORIES

Categories for trophies and prizes will be

  • Junior – Under 18 on race day (16km event only)

  • Open

  • Veteran – Over 45 years old on race day

However in the results we will split them into these categories

  • Junior – Under 18 on race day (16km event only)

  • Open

  • Veteran – Over 45 years old on race day

  • Super Veteran – Over 55 years old on race day

The Organisers reserve the right to combine event categories if there are less than ten participants in a category.

 

REFUND POLICY

80km entries cancelled greater than 2 months before the event will receive a refund of their entry fee less a $25 administration fee.  Entries cancelled between 2 months and 1 months before the event will receive a 50% refund of their entry fee.  No refunds will be given for cancellations within 1 month of the event day. However, the entry may be transferred to another runner with a $10 administration fee.

34km entries cancelled greater than 2 months before the event will receive a refund of their entry fee less a $25 administration fee.  Entries cancelled between 2 months and 1 months before the event will receive a 50% refund of their entry fee.  No refunds will be given for cancellations within 1 months of the event day. If the event is cancelled due to extreme weather or other factors outside of the event directors control, 50% of entry fees will be refunded. The remainder will go towards covering some administration costs and a portion of fixed event costs.

Refunds will be paid directly onto a credit card if that was the payment method or direct into a bank account as nominated by the participant.
