FINALS POSTPONED

Due to Ministry of Health requirements and uncertainty around personal safety, the morning and afternoon final events for the Sprint Series have been postponed. We are hoping to host them in term 3.

Teachers, parents, volunteers and other wonderful helpers can have a run around a course once all the students have started. This is usually by 5:00pm. Starts will close at 5:45pm.

You can choose from the following courses:

  • Senior Boys course (2.7-3.0km)
  • Year 7/8 Boys course (1.7-2.0 km)
  • As well as being longer, the senior course involves long route choice options and more technical control finding skills. The Year 7/8 course is shorter and has easier navigation.

If you know prior to the event that you will run, please send us the completed entry form so we can have you ready to go in our system on the day.

On the day entries are welcome.

Public courses will only be available at the afternoon event on finals day.

Please note, results will be published as a separate winsplits event for public courses.

  • Morning event at Akoranga Campus

  • Afternoon Event at Rangitoto College

  • Placing from morning event determines starting place for afternoon event

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED

All you need is a pair of running shoes, active clothes and something warm for afterwards if the weather is cooler.  The events happen rain or shine, so a rain jacket is recommended.

Bring your own sport ident if you have one or use one of ours if you don’t.
