The Stanley Bay Mud Run is a community fundraiser for Stanley Bay School on Sunday 10th September 2023

Starting and finishing at the school – the course will also use the Ngataringa Navy fields.

Fun and challenging obstacles for kids of all ages and adults. Includes a slip and slide into a giant mud pit!

Do as many laps as you dare!

LOCATION

The race starts and finishes at Stanley Bay School – 15 Russell Street, Stanley Point.

Registration is in the school hall.

PARKING

As well as on-street parking, there are plenty of spaces at the Navy Ngataringa Sports complex, accessed from Jim Titchener Parade (highlighted in pink on the parking map). The yellow line shows the quickest route to the school.

During the race, this pathway will be used by runners so please use the alternative red route back to your car (via the Tennis Club entrance.). See attached map on route back to Navy fields via Ngataringa Tennis Club entrance.

TIMETABLE

Starts from 10am. Starts will be in waves of 10-15 people, starting with the under 5 year olds.

The waves are pretty casual so if you can’t make it to the right one then come along to the last wave starting at 12.30pm.

The less confident can do our Nippers Course which is all within the school field. More confident under 5 years olds can go around a lap of the full course.

11 years + and open starts (including families that want to run together)

WHAT TO WEAR

You must wear your Stanley Bay Mud Run T Shirt to prove you are a paid entrant.  No shirt – no start.

SHOES ARE COMPULSORY and we highly recommend old clothes that you don’t mind getting a bit mucky in. Or dress up in an old costume and be the star of the Mud Run! It is best to bring a change of clothes afterwards to get dry and warm.

 

BEST DRESSED MUD RUNNER!

There’ll be a prize for best dressed mud runner with both an adult and child prize. Remember you must wear your event t-shirt as part of your costume! There will be spot prizes from Kelly club, The Vic cinemas, Tui Balms, Narrowneck beach cafe, Huski and blunt umbrella too!  

 

T-SHIRTS

A t-shirt is included as part of your entry and you must wear this as you take part in the mud run (as proof that you are a paid participant).

Before you enter have a look at this sizing chart to ensure you select the right size for each person.

 

ENTRY PRICES

Last year entries sold out more than a week before the event, so enter quickly to secure you’re spot. It will be first in first serve limited to 1000 entries. Only if there are entries still available will there be on the day entries.

REFRESHMENTS

The food this year is next level with our deluxe ham rolls, sausages cooked by Devonport Rotary, to die for baking, candy floss, popcorn and the coffee carts will be at the ready! 
 

 

CHANGING ROOMS & BAG DROPS

Male changing rooms are in the corridor of Rooms4/5 and the female changing rooms are in the library. There is a bag drop option for you in the PE shed by Room 12, next to the school field. See the school map above for directions.

HOSE-DOWN AREA

There is a hose-down area available to help with clean-up after the race. As you cross the mud run finish line you’ll be welcomed in and washed down by the Devonport Fire service.

Please bring a change of warm clothes to get changed into for after the event so you can enjoy or delicious food.
