Finishers are recorded for course completions with any small variations noted in the course column below.
Records are only recognised for full course completions starting and finishing at Muriwai or Arataki. The course changed slightly in late Jan 2012, taking out the Zion Hill section and replacing it with a beach run from Pararaha to Karekare.
Solo means no runners to pace or keep company at any stage on the route
Unsupported means you carry all your food and gear for the duration of the route. You would only make use of water stops at exisiting taps etc for external supplies. No pre-stashing of food or drink.

To submit your name for inclusion simply email email@example.com with the following; name, date you completed the Hillary Trail, time, direction you ran (northwards or southwards), route if different from the official one, who you did it with and a short 200 word comment or link to your blog or something.
