You enter them as adults (so on the first screen, just select how many people are in your team – adults and juniors totalled) and once you’ve entered everyone’s names etc, you’ll be asked how many juniors there are in the team. The junior discount will then be applied at the checkout based on this question. If entering a family you should not answer the juniors question as your entry is already discounted.

$10 extra per person for entries received after the Tuesday before the event. We need this cutoff because we need to know numbers for map printing and catering, however we will print some spare maps. In recent events we’ve had too many people leave entry to the last minute which makes it difficult for planning. All entry fees are expressed in New Zealand Dollars
Acknowledgement of entry is by email once payment is received.

EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY

If the event is cancelled within the last week due to weather, natural disasters, or any other justifiable reasons as determined by the organisers, no refunds will be issued.

Refund protection is the responsibility of participants, and we have provided all entrants with the option to add XCover.

How Do I get X Cover!
When you go to complete your online registration you will given an option to insure your entry. If you select this option you will then have the insurance fee added to your payment. Once you have entered and paid you will receive two emails – one from Event Plus which is your entry confirmation, and one from X Cover which gives you information around the refund protection and how to make a claim if required.

X Cover will refund the cost of your booking if you are unable to attend a booked event due to:
- unexpected disruption of the public transport network you could not have reasonably known about before the date of the booked event;
- an injury, or an illness affecting you or a member of your immediate family;
- death happening to you at anytime before the booked event or a member of your immediate family within a 4 week period of the booked event;
- the mechanical breakdown, accident, fire or theft en route of a private vehicle taking you to the booked event;
- jury service which you were unaware of at the time of the purchase;
- burglary or fire at your residence in the 48 hours immediately before the booked event that required the attendance of the emergency services;
- you being summoned to appear at court proceedings as a witness which you were unaware of at the time of purchase;
- you being a member of the armed forces and being posted overseas unexpectedly;
- adverse weather including snow, frost, fog or storm where the Police services or other Government agencies have issued warnings not to travel. You must provide confirmation of relevant road closures from the Police or the relevant Government agency;
- you are being relocated permanently for work by your employer more than 100 miles from the booked event which you were unaware of at the time of booking or you are unexpectedly made compulsory redundant.
XCover must be purchased at time of entry. It can not be added at a later date.

PARTICIPANT DECLARATION
- Event in the following waiver declaration is known as “Lactic Turkey TrailNav Events”
- I declare that I have fully read and understand the rules and conditions of this Event.
- I acknowledge that there are risks involved with participation in this Event and fully realise the dangers of participating in an event such as this and fully assume the risks associated with such participation and my wellbeing during the Event.
- I understand and agree that situations may arise during the Event, which may be beyond the immediate control of officials or organisers, and I must continually participate in a manner that does not endanger either myself or others.
- Neither the organisers, the sponsors nor other parties associated with the Event shall have any responsibility, financial or otherwise, for any risk incident that might arise, whether or not by negligence, from any direct or indirect loss, injury or death that might be sustained by me or any other party directly or indirectly associated with me, from my intended or actual participation in the Event or its related activities. I do therefore hereby on behalf of my heirs, executors, administrators and assignees release and forever discharge the organisers, sponsors of, landowners and any and all persons involved in the conduct of the event from any and all liability whatsoever or claims of damages or actions whatsoever (including negligence) in any manner arising out of my participation in the Event.
- I authorise my name, voice, picture and information on this entry form to be used without payment to me in any broadcast, telecast, promotion, advertising, or any other way pursuant to the Privacy Act 1993.
- I consent to organisers or suppliers filming me with an aerial quadcopter above or next to me while taking part in the event
- I agree to comply with the rules, regulations and event instructions of the Event.
- I consent to receiving medical treatment which may be advisable in the event of illness or injuries suffered during the Event.
- I have if relevant to this Event, made my team members aware of these conditions and have authority to sign on their behalf.
- I understand that I have rights under the Privacy Act 1993 to access and correct any information held about me.
- I agree that I will be subscribed to the email database for newsletters and promotion from Lactic Turkey Events, but know I can unsubscribe at any time.

For XCover Refund Protection holders (see below for how to do this): We will provide you with a link to contact XCover directly for a full refund.
Without XCover: Refunds are processed according to our standard policy below:
- Entries cancelled greater than 5 mths before the event will receive a full refund less a $25 admin fee.
- For entries cancelled greater than 6 weeks before an event – participants will receive an 60% refund.
- For entries cancelled between 6 weeks and 2 weeks before an event – participants will receive a 40% refund.
- For entries cancelled within 2 weeks of an event there will be no refunds or credits.
